October 2007.

Phu Lam has been transformed from a sleepy little village on the outskirts of Saigon into a very busy suburb.  As you can see, the area around the old Phu Lam military installation, which was a swamp, is now covered with multi-story buildings.  There is a mix of residential, commercial, and industrial buildings surrounding the entire base.
